Wynn Resorts and Marjan LLC, the lead development partners behind the Wynn Al Marjan Island project in Ras Al Khaimah have announced their second joint venture on Al Marjan Island: Janu Al Marjan Island, developed by Aman Group.

The resort is scheduled to open in late 2028.

Located directly across from Wynn Al Marjan Island, the new property will be managed and operated by Aman Group, the developer behind the ultra-luxury Aman hotel brand.

Max Tappeiner, President of Wynn Al Marjan Island, said: “The Aman Group team is world-class, and we are delighted to have them as a neighbor. Beyond the standalone merits of the investment, we expect Janu’s guests and residential owners will be an additional source of high-quality visitation to Wynn Al Marjan Island.”

Arch. Abdulla Al Abdouli, CEO of Marjan, said: “The arrival of Janu Al Marjan Island by Aman Group marks a defining moment in Ras Al Khaimah’s evolution as a world-class lifestyle and hospitality destination. This collaboration with Aman Group and our partner Wynn Resorts reflects our commitment to curating exceptional experiences that resonate with discerning global travelers. Janu’s philosophy of soulful luxury aligns perfectly with our vision for Al Marjan Island, and we are proud to welcome this iconic brand to our growing portfolio of landmark developments.”

The 132-room hotel will overlook the Arabian Gulf and include a wellness centre with a yoga studio, gym, banya and hammam, as well as two restaurants, a mixology bar, a nightlife venue and a Kids’ Club. The resort will also feature a private beach, Beach Club and pool.

An adjacent residential tower will include one to five-bedroom Janu Residences and a limited collection of standalone villas.

The much-anticipated Wynn Al Marjan Island is set to open in early 2027 as the UAE’s first integrated resort. The project will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and bars, a theatre, beach club, luxury retail promenade and marina.
