Foodservice Network Gulf (FNG), a network of more than 110 organisations specialised in various areas of the foodservice supply chain, has announced details of its latest industry roundtable, to be held in the new year.

Leading foodservice professionals from right across the supply chain have been invited to register for the discussion, which will address quality management in relation to customer satisfaction.

Managing director of Hospitality Circle Group EMEA Gerlof Menkveld will be present to discuss procedures in quality assurance, corporate responsibility and performance management with attendees.

Servee Palmans, Starwood Hotels’ regional director of Six Sigma and operational innovation and an advisory board member of the Foodservice Network Gulf, commented: “I am excited to be able to meet through the Foodservice Network Gulf the strategical decision makers of my suppliers and service providers in a non-commercial setting, focusing on optimising the entire value chain, leading to reduced complexity and ultimately better control of our hotel chain's internal operational costs."

The roundtable, the second out of a series of five arranged by FNG regarding hot industry topics and supported by the advisory board of the Foodservice Network Gulf, will take place on January 29, 2009 from 12- 4pm at the Sheraton Deira Hotel, Dubai.
