Intel launches software program for Egyptian partners

Intel Software Partner Program to provide tools and support for Egyptian ISVs and developers

Intel has launched its Software Partner Program in Egypt. The program is intended to help developers to create solutions that run on Intel platforms.

The program, which is free to join, offers members a range of tools and services to help them develop and sell their applications.

Scott Harrison, global director of Partner Program Organization, Intel Software and Solutions Group: “Innovation requires the software and hardware communities to work together to deliver value for their customers. The Intel Software Partner Program represents a further step by Intel to invest and foster innovation in the software community on Intel technology. By providing local software companies of all sizes the opportunity to access task-specific tools to plan, enable and promote their solution on an Intel platform, we accelerate the adoption of innovative solutions that drive further benefits and opportunities for customers.”

The program provides a focused approached around twenty key market areas such as application development and deployment, collaborative solutions, enterprise resource management, financial services, gaming or healthcare information management, with advice and tools for each.

Member partners of the program can access tools to help with planning for the development process, including business insight training and access to Intel technology roadmaps, along with development tools.

The program also includes marketing support and collateral such branding and co-marketing campaigns, and access to the Intel Software Products Directory to showcase solutions. Members are also able to sell products on Intel Business Exchange, an online marketplace for SMBs to find solutions for their business area.
