Internationally-renowned speakers to convene at M Powered Summit in Dubai

MPS 2016 to discuss critical challenges facing start-ups and SMEs.

Internationally-renowned speakers to convene at M Powered Summit in Dubai

M Powered Summit (MPS 2016), an entrepreneurship summit targeting the global Islamic economy, will take place at the Dubai World Trade Center on October 9 and 10, 2016.

The event is organised by Hodan Ibrahim, a Somali-Canadian serial entrepreneur, and Abd Elmohaimen Mansi, an Egyptian hospitality industry professional.

The event takes place before the third instalment of the Global Islamic Economy Summit (GIES), which is being held on October 11 and 12, 2016, in Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai.

Ibrahim and Mansi explain that the M Powered Summit’s theme follows the country’s global Islamic economy mandate, but they have themed the event around three conversations. Those include defining the global Muslim start-up ecosystem, disrupting the Islamic finance space, and creating a nexus point for all like-minded entrepreneurs from around the world to meet.

The two-day forum will feature the following guest speakers: Peter Gold, founder of Peter Gould Art, Mohammed Faris, founder of ProductiveMuslim.com, Omar Al Busaidy, author of a self-help book called Just Read It, Alia Khan, chairwoman of the Islamic Fashion and Design Council, Zaina Kanaan, co-founder of Chari Cycles, and Aman Merchant, CEO of Impact Hub Dubai, among others.

Tickets for the M Powered Summit are on sale now. For more information, please follow this link: www.mpoweredsummit.com
