Intershop gets FAST in Saudi Arabia

Al Faisaliah Advanced Systems Technology has partnered with Intershop to provide B2B and B2C sell-side applications to the enterprise market in the KSA

Intershop is bringing its B2B and B2C solutions to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the announcement of a partnership with Faisaliah Advanced Systems Technology (FAST). Under the agreement, FAST will provide Intershop 4 and Enfinity, Intershop’s sell-side e-commerce applications to businesses in the Kingdom.FAST will work directly with Intershop to develop e-businesses, and will also target ISPs that want to set up online shopping malls as part of their service offerings. The company, which is a wholly-owned business concern of HRH Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Al Saud, will become a certified Intershop Professional Solutions Provider to provide consultation and systems integration for medium-to-large sized enterprises.“One of the primary reasons that FAST has partnered with Intershop is the flexibility of Intershop Enfinity, which will enable organisations in Saudi Arabia to sell directly to businesses and consumers online, as well as through distributors and e-marketplaces. This strategic alliance with Intershop is a major step in enhancing Al Faisaliah Advanced Systems Technology’s position as a leading-edge provider of enterprise level e-commerce solutions,” commented Mr. Isaac Shihabi, general manager of FAST.“Al Faisaliah is among the most well-established brands in Saudi Arabia, and our partnership will instantly increase Intershop’s market reach and awareness about the benefits of our e-commerce offerings. By working with FAST, Intershop creates the market-leading e-commerce software application, and our new partner provides the professional services and other necessary elements to complete strategic e-commerce solutions for businesses in the Kingdom,” added Basel Tutunji, Intershop’s sales Director for Middle East and North Africa.
