InterTek searches for regional partners at GITEX

First time GITEX Technology Week participant InterTek is showcasing the latest interactive display technologies from GestureTek, Canada, which can be used across various business fields. The company is launching this technology in the Middle East, and is planning on growing its business in the region.

First time GITEX Technology Week participant InterTek is showcasing the latest interactive display technologies from GestureTek, Canada, which can be used across various business fields. The company is launching this technology in the Middle East, and is planning on growing its business in the region.

"At GITEX 2008, InterTek is focusing on appointing dealers in the different countries of the Middle East. Interested clients who visit our booth from the Middle East would be considered as potential prospects for a dealership agreement to distribute and operate GestureTek's interactive display systems.

And other visitors will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations for different types of interactive projection and display systems that will be an added value to promote and develop their business," says Nasr Suleiman, group marketing director of the company.

This is the first operating year for the company in the Middle East.

"As a sole distributor for a foreign manufacturer in the region, we are very interested in developing our business in the Middle East. This area is considered vital for our business, since it is growing quite rapidly. Currently, InterTek is operating from Kuwait, has appointed a dealer for Lebanon and is looking to appoint dealers in ten more countries in the Middle East.

Our policy is to assist those dealers grow their business with us and engage in earnings, which would allow them to expand and grow in their markets," says Suleiman.

He adds: "GITEX has been for many years the best event in the Middle East for technologies and information technology. Specialised people around the region always wait for this event to participate - or visit - in order to update their knowledge and decide on their next purchase. Exhibitors always benefit from such events to improve business."
