IOR and CIBSE to join forces in UK

The UK’s Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) and Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) have committed to working more closely together to develop and promote excellence in refrigeration and air conditioning

The UK’s Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) and Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) have committed to working more closely together to develop and promote excellence in refrigeration and air conditioning.

The two bodies signed a Memorandum of Understanding that signals the progression of increased communication and collaboration on key issues within the industry.

IOR president Dr Guy Hundy commented: “The IOR is keen to extend the benefits it offers to its members and sees collaborative arrangements such as this as an important strategic move.”

CIBSE president David Hughes added: “This agreement will allow our two organisations to better understand the way in which we can work together to promote and develop excellence [in the sector].”
