Seven Seas has signed an agreement with networking vendor, Mitel, to distribute the vendor's IP solutions as part of Seven Seas's Building Management Systems (BMS) Seven Seas is already a Mitel Gold Solutions Provider. According to the company, the integrated solution will help it in tapping further into the booming property market in the GCC region.

Seven Seas BMS solution offers the possibility of linking HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), lighting, security, and telecommunications on a single IP network along with other data communications. Such connectivity enables better control and customisation of these amenities.

According to Seven Seas, the IP network based BMS can help reduce the operational cost of any property and enhance security as well. The IP integrated BMS also allows for controlling energy consumption, which in turn leads to r‘greener profiles.'

Tenants can use a web interface and their PCs to program and control the various amenities or choose from different pre-programmed profiles.
