The imaging vendor plans to target industry verticals, such as real estate and travel & tourism from its DIC office.
Internet Pictures Corporation (iPIX) International has started operations from its Dubai Internet City-based headquarters. The company plans to develop and sell integrated imaging applications to industry verticals, such as real estate, travel & tourism, and other markets where online marketing is critical.
“We are happy that iPIX International has joined the rapidly growing information and communication technology community at DIC. I am confident that this headquarters will allow iPIX to tap into emerging markets in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Dubai Internet City is keen to promote the spread of new technologies like advanced multimedia imaging in this region,” comments Dr. Omar Bin Sulaiman, CEO of DIC.
iPIX leverages its patented 360-degree-by-360-degree — virtual tour — imaging technology and services to enable customers to create and manage visual imaging content to achieve a competitive advantage.
“iPIX has the edge in the field of imaging solutions,” says Roger Swann, regional director, iPIX International. “Our expertise allows companies to successfully exploit avenues to further their business through the internet in a way they never realised,” he adds.
iPIX International is a joint venture between Internet Pictures Corporation of the USA and Soroof International, a Saudi-based group of companies that focuses on core technology/industry investment. Through a five year royalty agreement iPIX International is to develop and manage the business outside of the US.
