Isra and Miraj public holiday announced

Sunday, July 19, is a public holiday for ministries and other federal departments, government declares.

The government has announced that Sunday, July 19, is a public holiday for ministries and other federal departments to mark Isra and Miraj, the official news agency WAM reported.

The Minister of Education and chairman of the Federal Governmental Human Resources Authority HE Humaid Mohammed Al Qatami issued a statement with the official date of the holiday on Sunday.

The minister also extended greetings to President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Their Highnesses the UAE Supreme Council members and rulers of emirates, WAM added.
