Issa Haddadin wins Jordan deal

Issa Haddadin & Partners Construction Company has been appointed by DAMAC to carry out enabling works for its projects in Jordan - Business Gate and Business Heights in Amman.

Issa Haddadin & Partners Construction Company has been appointed by DAMAC to carry out enabling works for its projects in Jordan - Business Gate and Business Heights in Amman.

The contract, which is expected to take 120 days, includes site preparation, excavation and shoring works.

Business Gate is an eight-storey commercial tower, while Business Heights will reach 35 storeys.

"We are confident that Issa Haddadin & Partners Construction Company will carry out this work with utmost diligence. We will continue to work with Jordanian local firms as we believe they are capable of delivering the highest quality of work," said Mr. Hussain Sajwani, Chairman of DAMAC Holding.

The projects form part of the Abdali mixed-used development.

"Our presence in Abdali stems from our belief in the extremely vibrant and dynamic masterplan that is due to become a true hub for business and tourism for many nationalities throughout the region and beyond," said Peter Riddoch, CEO, DAMAC Properties.

DAMAC has ongoing projects in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar and Lebanon, with future schemes being considered in Turkey, Oman, Morocco, Tunisia, India and Pakistan.
