Italian designer Gianfranco Quartaroli has revealed a jewellery collection dedicated to the Formula One circuit in Abu Dhabi.

Quartaroli, who is known for creating jewellery collections inspired by the world’s most famous racing circuits most famous in the world including ones in Monaco and Monza, designed pendants, necklaces, keychains and bracelets in the shape of the route.

The collection includes the Abu Dhabi Circuit “Pole Position” bracelet in 18k white gold and diamonds. The carat weight of the diamonds in the bracelet vary depending on the length, according to Quartaroli.

The weight of gold for a measure of 20cm in length for example equals to 22 grams of 18k white gold and 4.50kt diamonds.

Quartaroli has been creating what he calls the “Circuiti” collections since 2002 when he decided to combine sports and luxury jewellery.

He has since created everything from cufflinks to money clips in gold, platinum, silver, stainless steel and other precious stones to reproduce the routes of famous circuits of Formula One championships and other major racing events.
