Implemented entirely in Arabic, the online system will enhance productivity of government entities
ITWorx in Egypt has developed what’s believed to be the first government-wide online performance management system in the Arab world – ADAA.
The Prime Minister’s Office performance management system has been implemented in the Arabic language across UAE ministries and federal authorities. It will centrally collect, analyze and circulate performance information by building performance scorecards and reports.
The ADAA system will be administered in three phases by the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs through the Prime Minister’s Office.
In the first phase, the ADAA system will monitor the performance of UAE government entities through more than 3,000 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Phase two will see ADAA being deployed at department and division levels of selected ministries to monitor individual employee performance.
The final phase will involve a full deployment of the system at all ministries and federal authorities to offer a complete multi-levelled Business Intelligence (BI) solution for the UAE government.
“The UAE Prime Minister’s Office is leading the Gulf in implementing world-class systems to improve the lives of their citizens and their own operational efficiency,” said Wael Amin, CEO and founder of ITWorx.
“We are very proud to have been selected to support this project with our industry experience and skills. We are confident that our Government Performance Management System will assist the PMO in reaching its objectives and accurately assessing its performance,” Amin added.
The project was awarded to ITWorx, in partnership with Microsoft, Online Modern Solutions (OMS) and CalSoft. The project was completed and tested in time to be officially launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, at GITEX 2008.For all the latest tech news from the UAE and Gulf countries, follow us on Twitter and Linkedin, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube page, which is updated daily.
