Flash Entertainment, the Abu Dhabi-based events company, confirmed on Wednesday that British electro-funk-pop band Jamiroquai will play a Yas Island post-Grand Prix concert on October 30, joining Beyonce and Aerosmith for a weekend of concerts.
The Yasalam After-Race concerts are exclusively for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders and will be taking place at the Concert Arena, Ferrari World, Yas Island throughout the weekend.
People who have purchased a 3-day F1 Race ticket will be able to access all four nights of after-race concerts. If they have purchased a 2-day ticket they will be able to access the concerts on Saturday and Sunday only. Flash confirmed that no additional tickets will be sold for any of the four nights of shows.
Jamiroquai’s international breakthrough came with their third album, Travelling Without Moving in 1996, which yielded two worldwide hits, "Virtual Insanity" and "Cosmic Girl".
John Lickrish, Managing Director of Flash Entertainment, said: ''Jamiroquai has a huge following all over the world, and lead singer Jay Kay’s penchant for motorsport makes it the perfect performance for the evening after the race.''

Yasalam will see a series of events and activities in Abu Dhabi throughout October to celebrate the country’s biggest sporting event - the 2009 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand prix.
