Jebel Ali Free Zone

A senior South Korean government official has said more companies from his country are likely to establish business in the Jebel Ali Free Zone. Soomoon Kim, senior advisor to the Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan Government, made the remarks during a recent meeting with Salma Hareb, CEO of Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (JAFZA). At present there are approximately 30 Korean companies in the free zone, including global brands like Samsung, LG, and Hyundai. “This visit is an important step towards enhancing cooperation between the UAE and Korea,” said Kim. “Both public and private sector organisations in Korea deeply admire the great advances made by Dubai to promote business and industry.”
