Jet Airways' flight from Dubai skids off runway, 15 injured

A Jet Airways flight from Dubai skidded off the runway at Dabolim airport in Goa while preparing for take-off on Tuesday morning, with 15 passengers suffering “minor” injuries during evacuation, it was reported.

The incident took place in the early morning after the flight arrived from Dubai and was readying for take-off to head to Mumbai.

“Few guests have sustained minor injuries during the evacuation process and medical assistance is being coordinated by the Jet Airways team and the airport authorities,” the airline said in a statement.

During the evacuation, the aircraft reportedly tilted forward, triggering panic among the 154 passengers on board.
