Jet Airways is planning to increase and add new routes from India to Oman.

In addition to increasing frequency from Mumbai to Muscat, Jet Airways will add new routes from Calicut and Bangalore to the Omani capital, Shakir Kantawala, vice president, Middle East and North Africa, Jet Airways, told Times of Oman.

The new services will be added over the next couple of years when Jet Airways receives the extra aircraft it has on order.

The carrier, in which Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways holds a 24 percent stake, already has existing routes from Mumbai, Delhi, Kochi and Trivandrum to Muscat.
