The app's Newsfeed feature allows users access to insights into who has viewed their CV and popular keywords employers use to find job seeker profiles
Middle East career site Bayt.com has launched a new, free version of its mobile application for job seekers on iOS and Android.
The app helps job seekers find their ideal job by matching their career preferences to opportunities online, ensuing greater visibility of their profiles.
Some of its interactive features in English and Arabic also help ease the process of job seeking, and include tools for building a CV.
The app, which boasts over 50,000 available vacancies, allows job seekers to create various alerts to ensure they are aware of new and relevant job opportunities.
“At Bayt.com, it is our goal to provide jobseekers with instant access to thousands of job vacancies on-the-go, and in the simplest, most effective way possible,” said Akram Assaf, chief technology officer at Bayt.com.
“For this purpose, we have revamped our mobile app to make it even more engaging, interactive and easy to use for an effective job seeking experience. The mobile app ensures that our 37 million users won’t miss an opportunity just because they’re away from their desktops,” he added.
Through the app’s 'newsfeed' feature, users can also get access to insights into who has viewed their CV, popular keywords employers use to find job seeker profiles, updates on recommended jobs, salary information and more.
Bayt.com is used by over 40,000 global employers and has a database of more than 37 million professionals, according to the portal. Its new app can be downloaded from the iPhone App Store and Google Play Store.
