The payment was made after the authority stopped issuing new visas while the matter remained unresolved.

Kalpataru Projects International Limited has paid a penalty of AED284,000 imposed on its UAE branch office by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), according to a regulatory filing with Indian stock exchanges.

The company said the penalty, equivalent to around INR68.48 lakhs, was discharged on 22 December 2025 to enable the reactivation of its profile on the authority’s portal and allow the continued issuance of new work visas.

The payment was made after the authority stopped issuing new visas while the matter remained unresolved.

Kalpataru Projects had earlier informed exchanges on 12 November 2025 that its UAE branch office received intimations from the ministry on 28 October 2025 alleging non-compliances related to Emiratisation requirements.

At the time, the company stated that the branch office was compliant and had filed an application seeking a waiver of the penalty.

In its latest update dated 23 December 2025, the company said its UAE branch was in the process of submitting extensive documentation and following procedural requirements to support the waiver application.

However, given the impact of the visa suspension, it decided to pay the penalty to ensure operational continuity.

The company reiterated that the penalty does not have any significant impact on its financial or operational position. Kalpataru Projects International Limited is listed on both the BSE and the National Stock Exchange of India under the scrip code KPIL.
