The top position in LinkedIn’s 2024 Top Companies list for Saudi Arabia has been taken by telecommunications provider stc. The data also marked a change from previous years where oil giant Aramco was number one.
Aramco dropped to third this year, overtaken also by Red Sea Global which retained its second place standing.
Entertainment businesses joined the ranks this year, with the debut of Miral and Saudi Entertainment Ventures at tenth equal, showing growth in the kingdom’s developing leisure and entertainment sector.
The annual list is compiled using data from LinkedIn on growth and career opportunities, which provides professionals guidance on potential employers and also aims to identify the best workplaces for professional growth.
“This year’s lists show how companies in the UAE and Saudi Arabia are continuing to grow and expand, which further cements the region’s reputation as a leading business hub. Our research has previously indicated professionals’ appetite for new career moves in 2024, and this list recognizes those employers that can be a top choice for professionals looking to make those moves,” Salma Altantawy, Senior News Editor at LinkedIn said.
