Company signs agreement to manage five star Palm Gamsha on Red Sea coast.
Dubai's Jumeirah Group, the luxury hospitality company, said on Monday it had signed an agreement to manage a new resort in Egypt.
The hotels group said it has inked a deal with Palm Hills Developments (PHD), one of Egypt’s top developers, to manage Jumeirah Gamsha Bay Resort, a five star deluxe resort located in PHD’s Palm Gamsha resort on the Red Sea, Egypt.
Jumeirah has been appointed to manage a luxury 250-room hotel on the mixed-use development of Palm Gamsha, an integrated community of more than 20 man-made islands forming the shape of a seahorse, located 47km north west of Hurghada airport.
Guests will be able to take advantage of the region’s renowned tourist activities and attractions, including bird watching, hiking, golf, diving, desert safaris and visiting archaeological sites, the company said in a statement.
Jumeirah Gamsha Bay Resort is Jumeirah’s first management agreement signed in Egypt.
The latest agreement brings the total number of properties under development or in operation by Jumeirah globally to 48.
