International firm is awarded the EPC deal by ConocoPhillips and Saudi Aramco.
KBR has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction contract by ConocoPhillips and Saudi Aramco for the Yanbu refinery.The contract is for the firm to provide detailed engineering and procurement services for the utilities package and the interconnecting systems and pipe racks.
The work is for the larger conversion project to increase Yanbu’s output to 400,000 barrels-per-day.
This award is an extension of KBR's current project management contract with ConocoPhillips and Saudi Aramco and follows the completion of front-end engineering and design services for the refinery.
