Kuwait Airways receives fifth Boeing 777-300ER
Kuwait Airways will boost its capacity for long-range
flights by 58 percent when all ten of the Boeing 777-300ERs are delivered, according to the CEO.
The national carrier took delivery of its fifth long-range twin-engine jet on Sunday, which is part of a ten-aircraft order that’s
expected to be completed by Q3 this year, according to national news agency KUNA.
Rasha Al-Roumi, CEO and chairperson, said the new Boeing-777s are scheduled to be introduced to
its Frankfurt, Bangkok and Manila routes this summer, adding that the accommodation
capacity for flights to remote countries would increase by 58 percent.
