Kuwait's fourth-largest lender by assets says Antoine Daher will take up top role on Thursday
Gulf Bank, Kuwait's fourth-largest lender by assets, on Wednesday announced the appointment of Antoine Daher as its new CEO.
Daher, the bank's deputy CEO, will take up the new role from Thursday and he will succeed Cesar Gonzalez-Bueno, who had been CEO since March 2014.
Omar Kutayba Alghanim, chairman of Gulf Bank, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Antoine Daher as Gulf Bank’s new CEO. He has been part of the bank’s senior management team since 2013, and he has a track record of strong leadership, both within and outside of Gulf Bank.”
Prior to joining Gulf Bank, Daher served as a senior executive at National Bank of Kuwait and has also worked at National City Bank in the US.
