L&T win Nakheel villa deal

India's Larsen & Toubro has won a US $49 million (AED179 million) contract from Nakheel to build a residential project on Jumeirah Islands.

India's Larsen & Toubro has won a US $49 million (AED179 million) contract from Nakheel to build a residential project on Jumeirah Islands.

The project will be executed by ECC, L&T's construction division, and involves the construction of 31 luxury villas and associated infrastructure facilities including a clubhouse and children's play area.

Construction is scheduled to be completed in 18 months.
