Lebanese blogger walks for Dolce & Gabbana to represent the Middle East

Lebanese blogger Lana Sahely walked the runway as a model for luxury clothing brand Dolce & Gabbana at its Fall 2017 Ready to Wear show during Paris Fashion Week to represent the region as an Arab influencer and fashion entrepreneur.

The iconic due selected 140 “non-model models” to showcase their most recent collection.

Sahely, who runs e-commerce site L’Armoire de Lana, received an e-mail invitation from the iconic fashion duo requesting her participation in the show. She had reportedly met the designers at their latest fashion show in Milan.

She sported a silk, pajama-inspired set with a velvet, metallic-lined blazer and an ornate crown and beaded heels for accessories.

Sahely posted a backstage photo to her 171k followers on Instagram with the caption: “When about to hit the runway, pinching myself, never would have imagined a more beautiful moment, dreams do come true. Thank you @dolcegabbana.”
