RISING PRODUCTION: Electricity production in Lebanon rose 5.8% in the first 9 months of 2010

Electricity
production in Lebanon rose 5.8 percent in the first nine months of 2010,
according to new figures from the Lebanese Central Bank.

Electricity
production totaled 9.47 billion KWh between January and September 2010,
according to figures from the Central Bank, as reported on Wednesday by The
Daily Star newspaper in Lebanon.

This
is a 5.8 percent increase since the same period last year and 13.5 percent
growth since 2008.
