LEED exams available in UAE

The LEED Accredited Professional exam is now available in Dubai.

The examination needed to become an US Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (AP) is now offered in Dubai.

Global testing and assessment services provider Prometric has teamed up with the US GBC and Emirates GBC to offer the service. It was previously only possible to sit the exam in the USA.

Individuals that wish to undertake the exam can now register to do so through Prometric. The service will be provided at its Knowledge Village examination centre in Dubai.

Emirates GBC chair Sadek Owainati commented: "Given the continuing massive uptake for the LEED Technical Review Workshops and the desire of attendees to become certified as a LEED AP this can only be seen as a most positive move and a definite plus for Dubai and the region as a whole."

The application procedure is due to be posted on both the Prometric and Emirates GBC websites; see www.prometric.com/GBCI/default.htm or www.emiratesgbc.org respectively. Alternatively, Prometrics can be contacted on 04 367 8176.
