LG Electronics expands mobile portfolio

Korean giant, LG Electronics, expanded its mobile portfolio this week with the launch of three new entry-level handsets; KG320, KG220 and KG245.

Korean giant, LG Electronics, expanded its mobile portfolio this week with the launch of three new entry-level handsets; KG320, KG220 and KG245.

“LG Electronics is committed to offering its customers a wide range of best-in-class devices,” explained C.H. Lee, President of LG Electronics Gulf FZE.

“Our latest releases are all-in-one handsets that provide both sophisticated communications as well as multimedia capabilities. They show that highly advanced communications devices can be affordable too.”

The KG320 is a 9.9 mm thick ‘candybar’ phone featuring an easy-to-use navigation pad, 1.3 mega-pixel digital camera, 128 MB of flash memory, MP3/MPEG/AAC support and USB connectivity.

It also boasts a 1000-entry phonebook, 1.77-inch 176 x 220 pixel screen capable of displaying up to 256k colors, Bluetooth connectivity and a USB 1.1 port.

The KG245 and KG220 models are both clamshell phones, offering camera and video capabilities including built-in flash and 65k colour displays.

The KG220 handset also features tri-band, embedded GPRS/Java technology, polyphonic ringtones, MMS and WAP 2.0 capabilities.
