Review: Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4

Say hello to your day-to-day Lamborghini. Yes, it is practical

Racing drivers dedicate their lives for speed. Once you set foot inside the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4, you will understand why.

But first, here is what you need to know about the Italian supercar.

The Huracán was made to replace the brand’s best-selling car, Gallardo, and is supposedly the cheapest and easiest of the Lambos to drive.

We can confirm that it is easy to drive. It features a new chassis that is 10 percent lighter than its predecessor but 50 percent more rigid. We noticed that the Huracán is surprisingly light and its steering is easy to handle. As expected, it is also incredibly smooth and steady on turns.

It is also – dare we say – affordable, costing around $240,000 for a base model, which is half the price of its sister car, the Aventador.

The car also features a new seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox which allows it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and gives it a top speed of over 325 km/h. To give you an idea of what that feels like, imagine driving your own rollercoaster with the road mapped out infront of you and everything blurring out on the sides.

While it is normally difficult to drive a Lamborghini at a slow speed, this one has a button at the wheel which offers three settings, Strada, Sport, and Corsa. The Strada allows for smoother driving and effortless steering.

As for the interior of the car, it boasts a wider space and ample head room. So while you may have trouble getting into the low car, you will not have to tread carefully once you are inside it.

The exterior, it is safe to say, is as aggressive and sleek as expected and will turn all eyes on you.
