Saudi Arabia has unveiled Via Mercato, a luxury gourmet food hall, following the announcement of Via Riyadh which took social media by storm with actress Sofia Vergara promoting the destination.
The new food hall crafted by DTK Studio built at 14-metres high is a blend of Japanese design and Salmani Architecture.
The luxury food market concept will offer an array of artisanal and specialty food products such as cheese, fresh baked goods and Japanese delicacies.
Guests can choose from the caviar bar, pizzeria, a rotisserie and a cheese shop.
Interior details at the luxury venue includes a staircase adorned with leather and marble, a dining experience under the skylight and Japanese wooden lattices.
Via Mercato was designed within a strict timeline by sourcing locally available material alongside diligent planning and schedules.
Luxuries for guests to experience include private dining, café seaters, custom high chairs at the caviar bar and Spain-manufactured furniture.
