The Promotions event, one of the most anticipated new developments in the Public Investment Fund (PIF)-backed LIV Golf, has been confirmed from December 8-10 in the UAE.
The tournament, which offers spots in the lucrative 2024 season, will take place at Abu Dhabi Golf Club in the capital. It is already proving to be different from every other Qualifying School events in the world, offering a prize money of $1.5 million to those who participate.
Promotions will be played over four rounds in three days, including 36 holes on the final day where the top three finishers will be drafted into one of the LIV Golf teams next season.

Those tied for the top 20 after Friday’s opening strokeplay round will advance to the second round on Saturday. Scores will be reset and these players will be joined by a category of players who automatically qualified for day two of competition.
The top 20 players after the second round will advance to the final day of competition, where scores will reset once more, and they will be involved in a 36-hole shootout.
Apart from their spots in the 2024 LIV golf season, the top three finishers will receive prize money of $200,000, $150,000 and $100,000 respectively.
Players finishing 4th to 10th will receive full exemption for all 2024 events on The International Series on the Asian Tour.
