The winner of the match could face the victor of the Tyson Fury versus Oleksandr Usyk bout to contest an undisputed heavyweight championship fight later in 2024.
Should such a bout happen, Saudi Arabia will be in prime position to host the fight as it becomes central to the heavyweight boxing world.
The Knockout Chaos event in March will also feature an undercard, China’s WBO interim world champion Zhang Zhilei defending his title against former champion Joseph Parker.
Mexican featherweight boxer Rey Vargas, the WBC champion, will also defend his title against Liverpool’s Nick Ball.
