Jake Paul will fight Tommy Fury in a boxing match in Saudi Arabia it has been confirmed.

While no official venue has been announced, the fighters have said they will take to the ring on Sunday, February 26 in Saudi Arabia. Riyadh’s Diriyah Arena is one possible location, having been the stage for Anthony Joshua’s high-profile bout with Andy Ruiz Jr in 2019.

American YouTube Star Paul, brother of Logan Paul, and British boxer Tommy Fury, brother of World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury have been trying to arrange a bout since 2021.

A New York match was called off in August last year due to visa issues for Tommy Fury.

“The moment of truth has finally arrived,” said Paul. “On February 26th, I will get in the ring with a ‘real boxer,’ an 8-0 fighter from a storied fighting family and show the world the truth about who Jake Paul, the boxer, really is.

“This fight doesn’t happen without the vision and support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its Ministry of Sport and Skill Challenge Entertainment Enterprises. I am excited to come to Riyadh and put on a show for the world to see.”

“Jake Paul’s boxing career ends on February 26th and I can finally move on with mine,” said Fury. “Every time I go out right now, everybody asks me about the Jake Paul fight. After this fight is done, everybody will be asking me how it felt to knock Jake Paul out. The world is about to see what happens when a proper boxer faces a YouTuber.”

Both fighters are set to make millions of dollars from the fight. Paul is reported to be in line for a $10m payout, with Tommy Fury likely to earn around $2.5m for the fight regardless of the outcome.

Jake and Logan Paul were both in Saudi Arabia for a WWE celebrity wrestling bout in November last year.
