Better, the first men’s wellness startup of its kind in the UAE has officially launched. Aimed at tackling critical issues in men’s health through a subscription model, it offers custom treatments such as hair loss gummies.
Founded by Walid Dib and Hass Anver, Better is designed to address the root causes behind mental pressures faced by men in high-stress environments, and which eventually lead to long-term issues such as hair loss.
“Today’s solutions in men’s health are often stigmatised or inaccessible,” Dib said. “We want to destigmatize these conversations and provide men with the support they need to take care of themselves.
“Our personalised approach ensures that men can receive the treatments that work for them, whether it’s a gummy, a supplement, or something as simple and discrete as a mint,” he added.
Better offers a range of products, including biotin hair loss gummies, caffeine shampoo, and rosemary hair oil.
“Today, men’s health hasn’t been disrupted the way other industries have. Fintech is there, transportation is there, cloud kitchens are there; healthtech deserves to be custom and personalised in the current year that we’re in,” he added.
Before establishing Better, Dib founded three startups, including a B2B SaaS company sold to an automotive group, an InsurTech that raised $6.4 million, and a mentorship platform acquired by BRINC shortly after launch.
