Lightest laptop launched in the UAE

Lightest laptop launched in the UAE

South Korean tech company LG Electronics has launched its lightest laptop in the UAE.

LG Gram (model 15Z970-T) has the longest battery life (60Wh) and comes with a 15.6-inch display and a compact 14-inch body.

The laptop has a borderless screen with narrow bezel on all four sides. The body frame combines Nano carbon, a cutting-edge material, and formable magnesium.

The product has a full HD IPS display (1920X1080) and has two levels of backlighting, making it much easier for work.

“When users push the power button, the keyboard’s backlight welcomes users when they prefer to work in a dark environment as the keyboard brightness easily adjusts to two levels,” the company said.

In addition, the advanced reader mode software offers customised screen conditions for reading, limiting exposure to harmful blue light and reducing eye fatigue.

The laptop runs on the seventh generation Intel core processor and up to 512 GB SSD and DDR4 memory. It also has a 141 percent larger fan with silent mode introduced with the Intel dynamic power thermal framework that helps to reduce heat and minimise noise.

LG Gram is available in dark grey colour at all electronics showrooms and hypermarkets in the UAE. No price was given.
