Lamiaa Fakhry is used to working out what people want – she started
her career in hospitality and was the first woman in Egypt to rise to the position of guest
service director.
A move to Saudi
Arabia meant a change of career direction but
Fakhry quickly adapted her skills to the research sector. Rising up the ladder,
she is now the associate director of research consultants YouGov Siraj’s office
in the kingdom. “Focusing on succeeding in different angels of life consumes a lot
of physical and emotional efforts, but when there is no place for anything but success
you eventually get success,” she says.
