Having performed more than 10,000 surgeries in Dubai, Dr Parashar is among the first movers to make it big in the booming cosmetic surgery field. An Indian, he moved to Dubai in 2005 working as a surgeon at a local medical centre. His entrepreneurial drive soon led him start his own venture – Cocoona Centre for Aesthetic Transformation. He now has four centres in Dubai and one each in Delhi and Meerut.
Dr Parashar is currently building a new specialised hospital for plastic surgery on Jumeirah Beach Road. He is also well regarded for his support of women who have suffered acid attacks, having provided many of them with surgeries and treatments to help them rehabilitate. He has also authored two books and a number of scholarly papers.
