The oceanfront property contains 237 air-conditioned rooms and the architecture is an ultra-modest sandstone-colour building with just five stories, designed to blend into the residential neighbour surroundings.
The rooms feature marble bathroom features and private balconies big enough to fit a dining table or double bed. The hotel has eleven restaurants, lounges and nightclubs, including local favourite Coya, an outpost of the London-based Peruvian restaurant. A popular feature with guests and residents is the Hendricks Bar, a gentlemen’s-style cigar club manned by stylish trolley servers. The Mediterranean-style hotel has two outdoor swimming pools and a private beach but a key favourite is the Pearl Spa.
