Kuwait over the years has attracted large numbers of expats, mainly from Asia and the subcontinent. According to the emirate’s Public Authority of Civil Information, around 70 percent of the total population are foreigners. This demographic has opened a demand for private schools for the children of foreign workers to keep up with their home country’s education curriculum. Private foreign schools at all levels, from kindergarten to high school, are showing rising enrollment.
British and US curriculum schools are also attractive to Kuwaiti students because of their international curriculum and English language instruction.
Education is the basis of Kuwait’s economy, Al Jeri believes, and his group is playing a key role in the emirate’s development by providing quality education for all levels and nationalities.
Today, Al Jeri Group employs more than 4,000 professionals from at least 35 different nationalities.
