From a very young age, Vinod Adani embarked on his entrepreneurial journey by setting up power looms under the name of VR Textile in Mumbai, India. He soon expanded into trading more commodities – such as sugar, oils and metals – and set up global operations in Singapore and the Middle East.
Today, he is a leading executive at the billion-dollar Indian conglomerate, The Adani Group, which is chaired by his elder brother Gautam Adani. Vinod oversees some of the firm’s overseas operations.
