Thierry Delvaux has been with JLL for over 20 years and has held a number of strategic leadership positions around the world during that time.
He is experienced in building and nurturing high-performing teams and understands what motivates clients with his deep and broad real estate expertise.
Prior to joining the MEA team, Delvaux was the global head of the international desk — a role he held since 2015 — and chairman of the Global Tenant Representation Board. Prior to this, he was based in Budapest, Hungary, where he was country manager and responsible for Jll’s South-East Europe sub-region. He led the company’s business across Hungary, Romania and the Balkans for almost 10 years. Delvaux joined JLL in 1998 and quickly became co-head of the office team in Belgium.
Delvaux earned a degree in Economics from Leuven University and majored in Japanese Studies. He lived for a year in Tokyo as a rotary exchange student and speaks fluent Japanese.
Delvaux is a member of the prestigious European Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) based in Brussels and is a director at the International Kiwanis Club, a global community dedicated to improving the lives of children.
He is also an advisory board member of an opportunistic fund investing in Central and Eastern Europe.
