The son of Sidharth and Indira Burman, Saket Burman is part of the legendary Burman family which founded Dabur, one of the largest consumer goods companies in India.
When his father died in 2015, he inherited a 12.4 percent stake and is currently a board member in Dabur International.
Based in Dubai, he serves as a member or an adviser to a number of entrepreneurial and angel investing groups. He’s been instrumental in establishing several UAE trading and IT companies.
Dermoviva hand sanitisers, anti bacterial hand wash, Vatika sanitizing body wash and Dazzl range of home hygiene products were among the Dabur products which have hit the Middle East market last year.
Dabur, known for its ayurvedic and natural consumer products, currently markets its products in over 100 countries including in the US, Europe, Russia and SAARC countries, besides the Middle East.
The company also seeks to continue to solidify its market share across the Indian consumer goods industry.
