Shoba Menon is the founding partner of the Equity Group of Companies and has held the role of its CEO for almost 18 years now.
Her start in the advertising sector was with multinational agency Fortune PromoSeven, where her boss told her “If you do not perform, I will sack you in two weeks”. She did perform and has now become a legend of Dubai’s competitive advertising sector.Menon has previously worked with global digital agency Wunderman as its managing director-MENA.
Equity group of companies includes Equity, The Cheek, The Cheek Active and M3Productions and has grown exponentially across the MENA region with over 100 employees and has worked with 20 plus clients on a variety of campaigns.
Menon holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology from the Univesity of Mysore in Karnataka.
