Dr Nahed Taher is a leading economist and executive banker
and the first female CEO of an investment bank in the GCC. Prior to co-founding
Gulf One, Taher served as chief economist and chairman of the Risk and
Portfolio Management Committee at NCB in Jeddah. Prior to NCB, Taher held the
position of head of the accounting department at the King AbdulAziz University
in Jeddah. She has over fifteen years of banking, academic and research
experience and is also a well-known personality in the field of economics.
