Would your business fit into the popular Tourist Club Area of Abu Dhabi?
Where is it? You’ll find it at the very end of Sheikh Khalifa Highway, past Mina Zayed Port, just as you enter Abu Dhabi proper.
What’s it like? A highly desirable place to live for the young and wealthy, with plenty of shops, boutiques, restaurants and hotels.
Where’s the best bit? Abu Dhabi Mall is incredibly popular, but it’s incredibly difficult to get a spot there. Businesses could work well in any of the residential parts.
What sort of businesses are there? Retail is king here – there are shops galore, from the small to the large – both inside and outside of the mall. It’s also a place people go to for good food, and there are numerous restaurants.
How do I get a spot? If you want to aim for the malls, apply directly through them. Property agents could be a good source of other available units.
What’s the downside? Can be and expensive place for a start-up.
What’s the upside? Lots of residential towers, meaning lots of customers. It’s busy all the time.
What else should I know? It’s becoming something of a fashion hub, so could be a good place for designers to go.
Top tip Being in a vibrant area, you might need a vibrant brand to stand out.
