G-Lock Software has released Advanced Administrative Tools 5.8, which is designed to help network managers test the security of their networks.

Advanced Administrative Tools 5.8 includes 12 scanners including TCP/UDP security port scanner, proxy analyser, RBL locator, trace route, e-mail verifier and links analyser.

The company says the tools will provide network managers with sufficient information about a computer, network status and service availability, thus helping them to optimise the system for maximum productivity and protection against hackers.

The firm claims that security is the top concern for network managers and says that its products is an important proactive tool that can expose vulnerabilities before they areexploited by hackers.

Advanced Administrative Tools 5.80 runs under Windows 98 / 2000 / Me / NT4.0 / 2000 / XP / 2003 and costs US$75.
