Mövenpick Hotels raises new flag in Al Khobar

Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts has increased its presence in Saudi Arabia with the opening of the five-star Mövenpick Hotel Al Khobar.

Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts has increased its presence in Saudi Arabia with the opening of the five-star Mövenpick Hotel Al Khobar.

The 13-storey tower includes 101 rooms and 42 suites, with other features including a 1600m2 multi-purpose banquet hall designed for weddings, conferences and meetings, fitness centre, Turkish bath and indoor swimming pool.

The property's F&B offer will include Indian outlet Maharaja, by Michelin chef Vineet Bhatia.

Mövenpick Hotel Al Khobar general manager Phillippe Charraudeau said the country represented "a strategic destination for the expansion of our brand in the Gulf region".

"Through lengthy preparations and endless efforts we have created a much anticipated hotel in Al Khobar," he said.

"We are proud that our presence here [in Saudi Arabia] has been significantly boosted by the addition of this hotel."
