Footballers teamed up with Select Property Group, which has offices in the UAE
Three footballers from Manchester City FC broke ground on a new luxury apartment scheme development for a UK-based property company with offices in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah.
England’s James Milner, along with French players Eliaquim Mangala and Bacary Sagna, launched the construction of a 17-storey luxury project to be built in the heart of Manchester by Select Property Group, a global provider of investment property which has projects the UAE, including The Torch tower in Dubai Marina.
The CitySuites development, located in the Greengate regeneration project, is aimed at the growing number of business travellers that are staying in Manchester either on a permanent or short term contract basis, according to Select Property Group.
Close to Manchester Cathedral, the property will come equipped with the luxury services of a hotel, whilst tenants will also be able to enjoy a concierge service.
“With its global supporter base and on field successes, MCFC helps promote Manchester to a worldwide audience on a weekly basis. Manchester’s appeal similarly transfers to the business world, with the region an important European enterprise location. This has seen more international businesses and organisations locate to the city to benefit from a strong economy, fantastic transport links and a rich, vibrant culture,” said Trevor Moore, chief operating officer of Select Property Group.
