Mariah Carey will headline the second night of the 2017 Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival on February 23 at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.

The award-winning singer, songwriter and record producer is the best-selling female artist of all time, with more than 220 million records sold and eighteen #1 singles – the most for any solo artist in history.

Known for her distinct five-octave vocal range, she is equally distinguished as a songwriter, penning all but one of her #1 singles, including “Fantasy,” “Always Be My Baby,” “Hero,” “Touch My Body,” “One Sweet Day” and “We Belong Together”.

Carey has most recently completed her “Sweet Sweet Fantasy” tour across Europe and second Vegas residency.

“It is such an honour to have one of the world’s most remarkable music icons, Mariah Carey, perform on the stage of Dubai Jazz Festival,” said Anthony Younes, CEO of Chillout Productions, founders and organisers of the Dubai Jazz Festival.

“We aim to provide something unique and memorable for our fans, old and new. We also wish to attract more festival goers even beyond the Middle East to celebrate music together on our 15th anniversary.”

The 2017 Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival runs from February 22 to 24, and recently announced the biggest Latin recording artist in music history, Enrique Iglesias, taking the stage on the last night.

Tickets are available via www.ticketmaster.ae from 12:00pm on Tuesday, December 6. Standard prices are at: VIP Deck AED 1,595; Fan Pit AED 995; Golden Circle AED 795; Regular AED 395;
